Hi there! I’m selling fukubukuro of furoku to try and earn a little money, plus clear out my drawer of doom. Please read below if you’re interested!
Smaller Bag: Smaller bags will be shipped in 10″x13″ envelopes. These will more likely include stationary and small items, like bracelets, clear files, and key chains. Small bags will be $6 plus shipping. (There are six small bags available)
Bigger Bag: Technically a box. They’ll be shipped in a small flat-rate box. Items inside will be heavier, like pencil boxes, clocks, and playing cards. Big bags will be $13 plus shipping. (There are five big bags available)
FAQ!
How much is shipping?
Small bag: $4 within the U.S. ; $11 to Canada or Mexico ; $12 internationally
Big bag: $5 within the U.S. ; $12 to Canada or Mexico ; $14 internationally
Everything will be shipped from the U.S.
Isn’t that a little expensive?
I can’t control shipping prices, unfortunately. But if you consider the amount of stuff you’re getting, I’d say it’s a pretty good deal. I’ve seen people list furoku on eBay for insane amounts of money.
So what can I expect to find inside?
It’s a surprise! But if you take a look here you can get a general idea. (Note that those photos were taken a few months back, and that they don’t represent all the furoku I have) If you look to the sidebar on the right, you’ll find links to all the magazines I get my furoku from.
All bags will come with one or two mini-prints signed by a Sho-Comi author.
What is the quality of the items?
Everything is new. In some cases, the plastic the items came in will be removed (to keep my cat from being tempted), but none of the items have been used.
Some of the items come from more recent issues, and some come from issues way back (I’ve subscribed to Nakayoshi for 8 years, for example). The older items might look, well, older, but they are still unused.
What does the money go towards?
They money goes towards my everyday life. Food, school… especially school. School is expensive. T_T
Can I pick which items go into my bag?
No, all the bags are already pre-packaged (the point of fukubukuro is the surprise!). But if there’s something specific that you’d like to purchase individually, send me an email at pichipitch[at]gmail[dot]com. I can definitely work something out! :)
How do I buy?
Scroll back up to the descriptions of the bags.. Everything is done through Paypal, so your purchase is secure. You’ll need either a Paypal account OR a credit/debit card.

@Nyobi: Yep. Flat stationary like clear files and paper items would be in the small bag, and other items like pens would be in the big bag.
As for the shipping, there’s nothing I can do. I use flat-rate packaging because it’s the cheapest for international orders, and it allows me to put as much stuff inside as I can without raising the price. :)

@Sharon: You can, but shipping will be the same. It’s a better deal to just go ahead and splurge on a whole bag. (PS: You don’t actually need American dollars to pay– just use a credit card or PayPal; it’ll convert the difference for you)
